Top 20 Koleksi National Costume Miss Grand International 2024 Yang Menyerlah

Pertandingan untuk Anugerah Pakaian Kebangsaan Terbaik telah berlangsung pada 20 Oktober 2024 di Dewan MGI, Bravo BKK Mall, Bangkok, dengan 69 peserta mengambil bahagian. Hanya 22 busana; 10 melalui undian awam, dan 12 yang lain dipilih oleh hakim, layak ke pusingan pemarkahan kedua, di mana bilangannya dikurangkan kepada 10 kostum; 5 dipilih melalui undian dan separuh lagi akan dipilih oleh hakim.


Acara itu, yang dihoskan oleh Miss Grand International 2023 – Luciana Fuster dan MC MGI – Sakul Limpapanon, telah bersiaran secara langsung menemui penonton di seluruh dunia melalui saluran Youtube dan halaman Facebook pertandingan itu.

The Goddes of the Lynxes

Miss Grand Spain’s love for felines inspires her call to protect the Iberian lynx, now "vulnerable" on the Iberian Peninsula. Masbe Creations designed a golden outfit mimicking the lynx's fur, symbolizing power. Susana Medina portrays a goddess protecting the lynx from poachers, a leading cause of their decline, with only 10% of crimes detected and just 7% prosecuted.

ANAHAW - An Emblem of a Champion

The Anahaw, a symbol of Filipino strength, resilience, and victory, represents valor and hard work. This costume, inspired by the Anahaw, embodies the spirit of the Filipino people. Crafted with thousands of golden crystals, hardware, and leaf-shaped fabrics in gold and green, it honors both the national symbol and the vibrant colors of Miss Grand International.

The "Amy in Wonderland" costume for Miss Grand United Kingdom blends Alice in Wonderland with the elegance of afternoon tea, celebrating British tradition and literary fantasy. A vibrant tiered skirt mimics a tea stand with Queen of Hearts motifs, while the bodice has a ruff collar. The oversized teapot headpiece reflects the Mad Hatter's whimsy, creating a captivating tribute to the UK's unique heritage.

Inspired by the beauty of nacre inlaid on the architectural of mausoleums, temples, and exquisite handicrafts in Vietnam. The costume also tells us the story about traditional crafts that have been associated with the history of the development of nation's arts.

This costume is inspired by Curaçao’s Queen Emma Bridge, known for its swinging design and role in connecting Willemstad's city center. Symbolizing unity, the bridge's vibrant LED lights create a stunning display at night. For Akisha, it holds personal significance, honoring her father’s work at the port. It also celebrates Curaçao's 2024 Gender Equality Law, representing progress and inclusivity.

Rahu Om Chan (Moon Eclipse Enchantment

Inspired by the legend of “Rahu” from Thai-Hindu mythology, this design reflects the demon who, disguised as a deity, drank the nectar of immortality. Exposed by the Sun and Moon, Rahu was punished by Lord Vishnu, who severed his body. Enraged, Rahu swallows celestial bodies, causing eclipses. Yet, many Thais revere him, believing he wards off misfortune and brings luck and prosperity.

The dance of the Emerald Hummingbird

This costume uses natural materials like seeds, reed, testón crystals, and recyclable fibers with renewal paint. It honors the PECH(Pećh), one of Honduras' nine surviving native tribes, from the northeast. Celebrating their sacred customs, it pays tribute to nature, fauna, and the endangered Emerald Colibri(Co-li-Bri), a magical hummingbird. Designed by architect Alberto de Castro, it represents Honduran heritage.

Linked to the rising of the Matariki star cluster, it celebrates planting, hunting, and honoring ancestors. Clear stars signal a bountiful season. The costume features the seven Matariki stars, seafaring heritage, farming, and Māori carvings. Designed by Pi Perez of Paraluman Heritage.

The name Panama itself means "abundance of fish."
